If your purchase is found to be faulty within 14 days of purchase, please contact Tools-Warehouse on 01295 274029 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will recommend the best course of action to get the issue resolved. In some cases for countries outside the EU we will ask that you handle a repair or replacement locally or return the item to Tools-Warehouse at your own cost. Tools-Warehouse will make every effort possible to assist with this process.
If your purchase is outside the 14 day period you are still covered by the manufacturers warranty, the procedures for the major manufacturers can be found below.
PLEASE NOTE - The guarantee does not apply where:
- Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
- Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
- The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
- Alterations have been made to the tool.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
Bosch Power Tools (including Lawn and Garden, Skil, Rotozip and Dremel)
Call 01895 838791 and the Bosch Service Centre will arrange the best course of action to get your issue rectified. Bosch Professional Power Tools come with a 1 year warranty as standard but if you register the tool online within 30 days you'll get an extra 2 years warranty free. Please Note, you will require to produce your Tools-Warehouse invoice as proof of purchase. The Bosch guarantee applies to tools that are bought and used in Europe.
Dewalt Power Tools (including Black & Decker)
Call 01753 567055 and the Dewalt Service Centre will arrange the best course of action to get your issue rectified. Normally you will be asked to take the faulty item to your nearest Dewalt Agent but if you are further than 10 miles away from an agent they will arrange to have your item collected by carrier. Warranty on Black & Decker products is for 2 years and Dewalt products is for 1 year. The warranty is valid anywhere in Europe but not beyond. There are Service Agents in all major European countries to carry out repairs. Please Note, you will require to produce your Tools-Warehouse invoice as proof of purchase.
Hitachi Power Tools
Call 01908 660663 and ask for the Service Department. They will triage the problem and if a fault is diagnosed they will provide you with a returns number and a form to be completed which should be faxed back to them on the number they provide. They will arrange to collect your product (only from a business address otherwise you are responsible to pay the shipping cost)), repair it and return it free of charge. Please Note, you will be required to enclose your Tools-Warehouse invoice and completed returns form with the returned item. The Hitachi warranty is only valid in the UK, therefore any items being shipped abroad need to be returned to the UK for repair at the customers expense.
In case of a professional machine fault, the warranty and service is covered by ourselves, as we are a Karcher Service Agent, please contact us on 01295 274029, and we will advise the best course of action. For all Domestic Machines, First you should call the Kärcher Technical Advice Line - 01295 752086 - Sometimes problems can be solved on the phone!
If a repair is required, Karcher will arrange a courier to collect the machine, or an engineer if deemed the best course of action. Tools-Warehouse invoices will be required as proof of purchase.
Ryobi Power Tools
Ryobi offer a 2 Year Warranty which applies to all machines. Call 0800 389 0305 or email email@example.com and the service centre will do what they can to rectify your problem. They will arrange to collect your product, repair it and return it (there may be a charge for carriage). Please Note, you will require to produce your Tools-Warehouse invoice as proof of purchase. Ryobi warranty is only covered in the UK and the EU. In the EU the user is instructed to contact the local service network via the Ryobi website.
SIP Industrial Products
Call 01509 500300 and SIP will arrange the best course of action to get your issue rectified. Please Note, you will require to produce your Tools-Warehouse invoice as proof of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: In the event your product develops a fault within the warranty period but after our 14 day no quibble return period, and Tools-Warehouse handles your warranty procedure on your behalf, a handling charge will apply.
